The Dakota Legacy

With a scratch of a pen Dakota Fabricating began business in 1989 located in Glendale, Arizona. Founded by Harold and Danette Holmberg, with their children Tim, Dalynda, and Rich.
Dakota Fabricating was a small family-owned business with a big passion for heavy equipment manufacturing. Danette describes their start as "humble beginnings of honest, hardworking, and God loving Christians whose hand shakes were their word".

Dakota Fabricating boomed into a trailblazing company for its time and region. Growing from 5 to 75 employees, ranking #1 in sales with companies Lippmann, Telsmith, and KPI-JCI, establishing a successful service department, and prospecting for a new location...

Yearning to answer his customers' calls for help, Tim Holmberg Vice-President of Dakota Fabricating, dreamt of expanding into the northern territory. On a quest to get back to their roots and re-spark a vision, Tim and Martha Holmberg then founded Dakota Equipment Manufacturing Inc. ("DEMI") in 2012 located in Cresbard, South Dakota.

We worked tirelessly to get our new name out there and showcase our credibility. With more than 30 years' experience of custom solutions, DEMI Equipment and Dakota Fabricating have joined forces as one to provide you top quality, robust plant builds, and patented designs that have improved the aggregate industry.

The same quality, ethics, and innovation that you remember from Dakota Fabricating lives on through our company DEMI Equipment. We want to continue to serve you, our past and present customers.
